Job description: Planning Team Leader required in Slough.

This role will be on an ongoing temporary contract.

The purpose of the role is to lead and manage the work of the Planning & Building Control Enforcement Team allocating work in an efficient and effective manner, being accountable for monitoring individual and team training and performance.

To take a proactive and creative approach to identifying and investigating breaches of planning & building control, advise on and carry out appropriate action suitable to the breach including deciding whether it is expedient to take enforcement action.

Candidates may require a relevant degree/qualification e.g. Town Planning or a construction based qualification. Candidates will also need prevous experience of dealing with planning applications, and have knowledge of building control.
