Job description: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Play worker for Crawley Borough Council. The closing Date or this position is Wednesday 20th March.
Describe work duties:

We are looking for an experienced Playworker who will be responsible for supporting the Senior Playworker during the open access times of the play sites, this will involve supervising activities and general site health and safety, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children is also important, we would require a valid DBS.

Working hours:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school term from 3pm - 8pm
Monday - Friday during the school holidays from 10:30am - 4:30pm.

Skills and experience required:

-Experience of working with children between the ages of 6 -14 within a play work setting, an understanding of safeguarding children is essential.
-An outgoing and fun personality is crucial to succeed in this role along with creative skills to ensure a wide ranging programme of activities can be delivered, arts and crafts, sports and activities etc.
-First aid qualifications would be beneficial but not essential.
