Job description: Role: To successfully lead a team of support workers and carers in order to achieve the targets of the Haven through delivering the highest standard of care. It is essential to be an experienced social worker qualified too, or the equivalent of, a degree level qualification in health and social care. The role entails working with users suffering with poor mental health and will require methods and strategies to provide solutions to maximise their potential state of health. In being reactive and proactive in your approach, you will work towards deescalating the current situation, then advising the relevant health authorities on the visit and what approach they may need to take with the user.
Candidate: Must have experience in staff management including service and operational management leading to meeting agreed work and financial targets. It is essential to have strong communication and leadership skills in order for the team to meet all targets and comply with internal regulatory framework as well as relevant legislative frameworks such as the Mental Health Act 1983. Knowledge of data management systems is needed to interpret data and write reports for service management.
Requirements:
*Degree level (or equivalent) in Health and Social care or similar management subject.
*NVQ level 4 Health & Social Care
*Pin and member of HCPC (Health and Care Professionals Council)
