Job description: We are currently looking for an experienced practice leader to become part of a busy Youth Offending Team in the North London area. This role is on 3 month initial contract with the possibility of extension. The role will see you supporting the practice improvement manager in leading the Youth and Family Support Services and the Youth Offending Unit regarding Practice Management, Quality Assurance, Adherence to Policy and Procedure, Standards Assurance and Performance Management.
Responsibilities:
*Ensuring interventions are delivered effectively within the service to prevent the risk of offending and re-offending.
*Make sure all policies are followed correctly.
*Responsible for the overall performance of the service.
*Decision making on the cases within their team

Key Skills Needed
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with a wide variety of people (young people, their families, other agencies and professionals)
*Strong organisational skills
*Ability to work well and remain relaxed under pressure
*Good level of it skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
*Being able to take own initiative as well as part of a team
