Probation Officer (Court Team)
Location - Winchester
Working hours - 37 hours per week
Pay rate - £22.44 - £26.45 (Depending on experience)
Probation Officers to work within my court team. We are looking for candidates (who have worked in probation previously) preferably in the Court building Winchester Crown Court and Basingstoke Mags court, but can also facilitate virtual.
Job details -
Our client requires an experienced Probation officer with experience of writing court reports. If possible, they would like the candidate to be local and able to attend Somerset courts in person when required.
All offices in Somerset have staff car parking however spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis and so cannot be guaranteed.
Essential requirements -
- Experience of court report writing
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Degree in criminology, police studies, community justice or criminal justice
- Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice; or
- Diploma in Probation Studies; or Diploma in Social Work (Probation option)
- Evidence and experience of working for a recognised provider of probation services for 5 years
