Job description: Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Birmingham, B37
Salary: £30,507 - £35,934
Contract Type: 6 months possible extension
Weekly Hours: 37 Hours
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 05:00pm

The role will focus mainly on procurement of maintenance and repair contracts but may also dip into procurement support to other teams such as Facilities Management, Customer and Corporate Services and Neighbourhood Services. Each Procurement Officer is allocated a number of procurement projects they will be responsible for from start to finish. Work may also include provision of procurement training to individuals/groups.

Main Duties:
*Prepare contract deed of variation documentation
*Produce non-standard letters
*Obtain and update contractual information, storing documentation and reporting compliance
*Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers as required
*Provide written progress updates to Procurement and Supplier Operations Manager as necessary.
*3 to 5 years procurement experience
