Job description: Programme Facilitator - South West
Service Care Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Probation Service Officer and accredited Programme Facilitator to work on a temporary contract in an office in the South-West of England. The contract will initially be for 3 months.
This post is to start ASAP and there is a possibility of evening and weekend work as part of the normal working week. Part time or full time hours will be considered.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the delivery of the Group Programmes to offenders. The programmes are delivered to groups of offenders to help them to understand their offending behaviour, and provide them with training and guidance to minimise their chances of re-offending. Some work may also be undertaken on a one-to-one basis.

In Order to be considered for the role, you must have the following:
*Trained in delivering Building Better Relationships and Thinking Skills Programmes and other specific courses
*Proven track record of running accredited offending behaviour group work programmes
*Previous employment working with offenders or other groups with similar needs
*Experienced and up-to- date with OASYS and NDELIUS

Other Requirements:
*Demonstrate pro-social modelling skills by consistently reinforcing pro-social behaviour and attitudes and challenging anti-social behaviour attitudes
*Represent the Probation Service to other organisations.
*Understanding of case management
*Knowledge of the aims and objectives of the Probation Service
*Previous employment with the Probation Service, or other criminal justice agency.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills

The main responsibilities and duties of this role are:
*Work closely with the Offender Management Team and other agencies.
*Evaluate on-going risk factors for individual offenders as well as contributing to the overall effectiveness of the programme delivery.
*Maintain records on individuals' performance and report writing.
*Deliver programmes in groups or one to one
*Assist with the evaluation and feedback on the effectiveness of the programme
*Undertake Pre-programme interviews, Catch-up sessions, Mid-way review and Post-programme reviews as part of the delivery of an accredited programme
