Job description: A local authority based in Hertfordshire is looking for a number of Project Managers to join their team. These are full time, temporary ongoing agency roles and the successful candidates must hold full professional qualifications, have experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams and ideally experience in a local authority setting.

There are three roles available with the client, which are outlined below;

Project Manager - Aids & Adaptions - To project manage the provision of Aids and Adaptations to the councils housing stock. Works ranging from minor intervention works (handrails, ramps etc.) shower installations, stair lifts, including internal alterations and extensions.

Project Manager - Sprinkler Systems - The day to day management of contractors and works to ensure the timely installation of retro fitted sprinklers to seven high rise housing blocks. Monitoring and controlling works to ensure delivery of seven sprinkler systems and fire safety works within a set budget and time frame.

Project Manager - Garage's and Parking - Staff management of a Surveyor and Clerk of Works, managing a budget of approaching £1million and managing two teams of contractors who are carrying out the work on the Garages programme.

The main responsibilities will be as follows;

Carry out project management of works programmes of a technically complex nature in accordance with time, cost and quality parameters set.
Produce site survey information, estimates, contract documentation, specifications, schedules of rates and tender documentation as required.
Lead and effectively manage the procurement of services to support works programmes in line with policies and procedures.
Identify and monitor potential risks within projects and take appropriate preventative steps to reduce risks
Manage day to day contractor performance against agreed delivery programmes.
Attend and lead relevant meetings as required.

The client is looking to appoint to all three of these positions ASAP, as such is offering a salary of £24 p/hr Umbrella Ltd - £28 /hr Umbrella Ltd for the duration of the contract.
Being Inside IR35, an Umbrella provider will be used to process weekly pay (approx. £600 - £690 per week take home after deductions)
