Job description: My client, a local authority based in West London is looking for a Project Officer to join their team. This is a full time, temporary ongoing agency contract and the successful candidate will have experience conducting reviews of land and property assets in a similar role, as well as a relevant professional qualification.

The main purpose of the role is to undertake a ward-based review of land and property assets, working with officers across asset strategy and development.

The main duties associated with the role are as follows;

Support development of a ward-based review of land and property assets working with officers across asset strategy and development
Support desktop research, which seeks to identify potential opportunities, develop key lines of enquiry for further research, and recommendations to progress to feasibility
Develop reports and presentations which summarise key information and recommendations
Develop and maintain datasets relating to development, using excel and the Council's property system Tech Forge
Support the commissioning of feasibility and financial studies of potential schemes from external consultants
Organise and administer site visits, meetings and workshops as appropriate
Development and Maintenance of Geographical Information System relating to potential development assets where the council has an interest (Addressing and UPRN, Terrier plan Boundaries, Street naming and numbering)
Collate and extract relevant data from legal documentation (Land Registry)

The client is looking for the successful candidate to be competent working with mapping tools such as Google Maps and eGIS and is willing to offer up to £22 p/hr Umbrella Ltd for the role.
