Job Title: Projects Manager - Benefits and Reward
Locations: Kent - TN13 - Sevenoaks (hybrid working available)
Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed term
Work Pattern: 37 hours per week
Salary : £45,000 - £50,000

A new opportunity has become available for a projects manager to deliver benefits and reward projects that support the delivery of our People Strategy. We have an ambitious change and transformation programme and this role is to support the HR team deliver specific projects.

Main tasks and duties -

  • Manage and deliver specific projects to support our People Strategy. The main
  • projects relate to benefits and reward. This includes a review of our benefits
  • package and associated policies.
  • Implement and embed our new job sizing (job evaluation) framework including
  • actions relating to: equal pay for equal work audit; creating new job descriptions;
  • salary benchmarking; developing organisational design guidelines.
  • Implementing the standard West Kent project methodology including: tracking; reporting; risk and management issues.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure buy in to the right solutions. This includes collaborating with the HR team; the Project Management Office;
  • Executive Team, line managers and the wider business.
  • Support the OD Programme Lead and Head of HR with their project delivery.
  • Manage external consultants and experts where appropriate with specific projects.
  • Ensuring that all projects are reviewed from an equality, diversity and inclusion perspective.



Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience of delivering reward related projects, including tracking; reporting; risk and issues management
  • General knowledge of human resources with a solid understanding of pay, reward and benefit principles
  • Stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Experience of leading and managing change
  • Experience of interpreting and reviewing policies
  • Experience of embedding values in an organisation
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Able to influence at all levels of the organisation
  • Able to constructively challenge where appropriate
  • Skilled at hearing and understanding the views of others
  • Persistence in achieving quality results on time
  • Creating an environment that helps people contribute and be heard
  • IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages and confident to learn inhouse systems
