Job description: Community nurse, Band 6

Vacancy working as a psychiatrist liaison in Frimley.

A Community Psychiatric Nurse is needed to join a busy team providing front-line mental health assessments for patients. They will provide services for users from age 18 years to end of life. The post holder will act as care co - coordinator, where appropriate to patients who require the skills of a Mental Health nurse, and provide a holistic, clinical, autonomous nursing service, to enable individuals to engage in the best standards of care available.

The candidate will provide specialist mental health assessment and treatment for patients attend the hospital and they'll deal with a range of problems including self-harm and adjustment to illness.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to produce complex care plans that can be used to aid patient recovery. The ability to work autonomously and under pressure is essential.

The role is to commence ASAP. The role is a full time NHS contract, with a flexible shift patterns available, specifically including long days and nights.

The rate of pay is:
£25 p/h ltd Monday - Friday daytime hours
£29 p/h ltd Saturdays and Nights
£33 p/h ltd Sundays and Bank holidays

Candidates must be a qualified RMN with a valid NMC Pin, and must have previous liaison experience.

A knowledge of 'System One' computer system is required and an enhanced DBS check is essential.
