Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

Job description: Service Care Solutions are looking for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to work a 3 month on going contract to be based in Birmingham working for the NHS. This is a full time position (37.5 hours per week).

Qualifications required-Relevant professional qualification relating to health or social care e.g. in social work, nursing, psychology, OT or Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions. Also Recent relevant evidence of continuing professional development.

Your main duties will be to provide high volume, low intensity interventions for clients with mild to moderate depression, based on a cognitive behavioural model.

To Provide clinical assessment and appropriate triage with a view to risk assessment, risk management, safeguarding, sign posting, treatment or referral.

To provide a range of information and support for the evidence based high volume low intensity psychological treatments. This may include guided self-help computerised CBT, information about pharmacological treatments. This work may be face to face, telephone or via other media.

The role is adhering to the April Caps and paying £18LTD an hour
