Job description: Team Manager - Safeguarding team - Warrington

Blackburn Council are currently recruiting for a TEAM MANAGER to work within the SAFEGUARDING TEAM.

This role currently operates on a 3 month contract with a strong possibility of extension and offers flexible hours and an excellent rate of pay.

The successful candidate will be required to oversee a team of 6 social workers in the Children's safeguarding team. You will be responsible for the supervision and management of childcare cases.

Essential requirements for this role include:
*Professionally qualified/relevant degree in Social Work
*Substantial experience working within the Childrens services in a Qualified role
*Previous management experience
