Job description: We are currently looking for a Children's Service Social Worker's to work within Assessment Teams of the Children in Need of Support and Protection service based in Haringey.

The role is a permanent and full time basis working 36 hours over Monday - Friday.

Salary for this role is from £31,930 - £42,847

About you:

*Experience - 2 years post qualifying experience, preferably in a similar setting
*HCPC Registered.
*Show excellent report writing skills and the ability to provide quality assessments
*A knowledge and understanding of the developmental needs of children and young people within the context of their family and other social relationships.

About the role:

*To undertake Assessments within the required timescales in accordance with the Framework.
*To implement care plans by working in partnership with parents and colleagues from other agencies to effect better outcomes for children with Child Protection Plans
*To accommodate children and young people and initiate care proceedings when appropriate
