Job description: Qualified Social Worker needed for Devon County Council, up to £38 ltd an hour depending on experience

Start Date- ASAP
Contract End date- 3 months (chance of extension)
Hours per week - 37
Pay rate - up to £38 ltd an hour depending on experience
Team - Child and Parent Assessment Team
Location - Exeter or Totnes (flexible)

An experienced registered child care social worker is needed to work in the Child and Parent Assessment Team. This is a specialist team who undertake parenting assessments for families who are in placed in child and parent fostering arrangements.
We require a social worker who is experienced in parenting assessment work and able to produce assessment reports for court
Skills needed:
*Assessment and planning skills
*Report writing skills
*Able to form effective working relationships
*Confidently represent the local authority/child and parent service in formal meetings and court as required
