Job description: An exciting opportunity had become available for a Qualified Social Worker (Must be HCPC registered) to become part of an outstanding Youth Offending Team in North London on a permanent basis.

This role will see you undertake all duties in relation to the provision of Assessment, Report writing, Supervision and Case Management relating to young people entering the Youth Justice System.

You must hold a qualification in Social Work and be HCPC registered or you will not be accepted for the role. It would also be desirable that further educational qualifications have been attained, such as a masters degree.

To be successful in your application you need to have experience working within youth justice or child protection. Those with experience in criminal justice who have worked with young people will also be considered.
The ideal candidate will need to be a motivated, outstanding individual who will bring a wealth of knowledge related to the Youth Justice System. It is essential that the right candidate has training and a firm understanding of key areas such as; Relevant Legislation, Child Protection, Data Use, Youth Justice and Social Work. The perfect candidate will be committed to achieving the best possible outcome for the young people they will be working with.
