We are currently recruiting for a receptionist to become part of a team working within a probation office in Rochdale.

We are looking for someone with good MS Office skills (MS Word and MS Excel). You will have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to a wide range of individuals including offenders. You must be able to work on your own initiative, work under pressure and meet deadlines. You must be someone who can work flexibly and cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manning the reception
-Answer incoming calls - routing calls to the right team member, assisting and taking messages
-Welcoming service users and booking them in
-General Admin support for the team
-Assisting in smooth running of the office - including reporting building faults, maintaining templates, keeping reception filing systems tidy and up to date

Skills/experience required:

-Experience of working in an admin/receptionist role
-Excellent Customer service skills
-GSCE'S including Maths and English at grade C or equivalent
-Ability to work as a team effectively
