Job description: Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an Recruitment Assistant to work with a Talent Acquisition and Succession team.

The responsibility of the role is to provide a professional and high quality talent acquisition and succession service which will proactively undertake recruitment, selection and promotion processes to help reduce vacancies and contribute to reducing the cost per hire.

Role Description:

-To provide advice and guidance to applicants and stakeholders on all issues.
-Coordinating and participating in the effective recruitment, selection and promotion process.
-To be responsible for day to day recruitment practices for all employee groups from request to appointment and onboarding including agreeing recruitment timeframes, providing media advice, preparing adverts, shortlisting and interview packs, coordinating recruitment checks and issuing contracts.
-To be responsible for the accurate and timely input of data, ensuring all relevant databases are up to date to inform
offers and organisational decision making.
-To complete peer checking to ensure legislative and policy compliance and accuracy.

Experience Required:
-Candidates must have worked within a HR, Recruitment or Administration role previously.
-Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external associates.
-Proven ability to work to deadlines and meet competing demands.
-Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.

This is a police-based role, so applicants will be subject to police security checks.

It is advised that applicants have a clean DBS/CRB within the last 5 years.
