Job description: I am currently recruiting a Band 6 Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join an Adult Community Team based in Lancashire.

The position is full time, Monday to Friday (37.5) working for a minimum of 12 weeks.

Salary: £23-24p/hr (Ltd)

The Adult Learning Disabilities team work directly with people with a learning disability, their family and carers, to promote health and wellbeing.
Provide specialist assessments and interventions to enable care providers/families to support the individual's health and behavioural needs in a person centred way.
Multi-disciplinary clinical interventions that may include nursing, psychology, psychiatry, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and physiotherapy
Risk assessment, promoting positive risk taking, and reducing harm.

The multidisciplinary team (MDT) includes; Consultant psychiatrist, Clinical psychologists, Registered Learning Disability Nurses, Nursery nurse, Associate Practitioners, Health Care Support Workers

Essential:
The applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse who is currently registered with the NMC
The applicant must hold a full valid driving license and a car is essential to use as part of the job role.

£250 Referral Bonus
