Job description: The role is based between two adult Mental Health and Learning Disability care homes which are located within walking distance of each other.

There are two homes/houses, one 14 bed the other 5 bed both with a "good" CQC rating.

Shift Pattern-
The hours are based on a 32-38-hour week, with a requirement of working weekend "on call". The homes offer support on a 24-hour basis therefore flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Salary-
£28,000-£30,000 per annum, this may be negotiable on proven experience and results.

Mental health and Learning Disabilities

Main Duties-
The care manager will be responsible for delivering high quality care to each service user. This includes supporting the resident's emotional needs, creating care plans and performing health assessments.

The key responsibility is ensuring that the best outcome is secured for each service user.

The successful candidate must also be a team player who is flexible, organised and able to work well under pressure.

A knowledge of compliance is essential as the care manager is responsible for all operational aspects of the home.

Person Specification-

Registered Manager Award (RMA), Level 5 in Management or working towards.
Previous experience working in a CQC Registered Services
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Good co-ordination and IT ability
Experience of working in a health and/or social care setting is essential.
