Job description: Are you an experienced Deputy Manager/Care Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have previous experience working with Older Adults?

Service Care Solutions are working with our established client to recruit a Registered Home Manager for a residential service specialising in Dementia care. The service is a 14-bed residential home situated in the Skegness area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager looking to step-up into a Registered Manager role.

Contract: Permanent - Full-time

Salary: £22,000-25,000 per annum (salary is negotiable dependant on experience)

The successful candidate will also receive a Welcome Bonus of £250, paid after completion of the first 4 weeks in the role!


Key Responsibilities:

*Clear understanding of CQC standards/legislation
*Show support and direction to other care staff
*To ensure staff is supervised and regular spot checks completed
*Provide on the floor guidance and training to junior staff
*Carry out regular audits and attend compliance meetings
*Complete and update care plans
*Responsible for the command of medication
*Support of residents and their families
*Ensure the delivery of person-centred care service
*Ensure care services are structured in a way that provides flexibility, reliability and continuity
*Ensure the service is appropriately resourced with the right number of suitable staff and oversee rotas.
*Promote good practice within the care home
*Ensuring that the Policies, Procedures and Practices of the Home are followed at all times.
*The effective management, supervision, motivating, training and development of care staff
*Good written and verbal skills for communication and understanding
*Ensure good practise around PPE and COVID-19 aspects of work
*Work closely with the Provider to deal with referrals, ensuring smooth management of the relationship with the Social Care Workers, local G.P. surgeries

Essential
*Previous experience working within a Dementia setting
*At least 2 years' experience in a Deputy/Management role
*NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care
*Good IT Skills
