Job description: Service Care Solutions are looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses to join a Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team (RITT) in Lancashire.

Hours: 37.5 hours
Days: Monday - Friday
Contract: 13 weeks (+ongoing)
Salary: £18 - £32p/hr (Ltd) depending on time of shift worked and banding.

RITT is an Older Adults Community Mental Health service. They accept referrals from GP's, other health care professionals, police and social services. In times of crisis when GP services are not open, we do also accept crisis self-referrals. Patients are usually over the age of 65 and are experiencing mental health difficulties which require assessment and treatment from secondary care services.

Severe and complex symptoms of depression
Severe and complex symptoms of anxiety
Severe and complex psychological difficulties including personality disorder
Severe and complex psycho-social needs
Psychotic symptoms

They are a multi-disciplinary service that consists of team managers, community mental health nurses, mental health social workers, occupational therapists, community support workers, admin support, secondary care psychological therapies and Consultant Psychiatrists who work with the team.

The service is made up of five key functions:
*Assessment
*Active Care Coordination
*Treatment
*Reviewing Officer
*Wellness and Recovery

The practitioner will be responsible for supporting the individual to develop a care plan to meet their identified needs following a comprehensive assessment process. They will also be responsible for reviewing the care plan and supporting the individual to prepare for discharge from the service.

Essential:
*The applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse who is currently registered with the NMC.
*The applicant must have a minimum 6 months employed experience working in Community Mental Health in areas such as CMHT, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Crisis Resolution, Primary Care etc.
*The applicant must hold a full valid driving license and a car is essential to use as part of the job role.
