Job description: Registered Mental Health Nurse required based at a residential drug and alcohol service in South West London.

Working Shifts on a rotating pattern - Days: 7.30am - 8 pm Nights 7.30pm - 8am
Salary - RMN - £29,117 (+ £5,400 Nursing allowance and £4,800 LWA)

Length of contract - Permanent

About the role
*Provide addiction assessments
*Assist withdrawal detoxification for drug and alcohol addictions (if required)
*Deliver Individual 1:1 therapy and structured group therapy programmes
*Follow the 12-Step model (The 12-Step model provides a set of guiding principles for the addiction treatment journey, and focuses on motivation to change unhealthy thought patterns and addictive behaviours)

Person Specification

Qualifications - RMN/RNLD

Skills/Knowledge
Completion of pre-registration/ Preceptorship
Drive to take responsibility for personal learning and development.
Experience of working in a similar environment and role
A focus on patient centred care
Demonstrable experience of being a team player
Ability to be self-motivated and flexible
