Registered Mental Health Nurse
A Permanent Role is available for a Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse within a newly opening private mental health rehab service for men within Harrow, North West London.

Annual Salary: £38,000 - 45,800pa (dependant on experience)
Location: Harrow, North West London
Hours and length of contract:
- Permanent Position
- Full time shifts on a rota basis:
- Week 1 3 shifts, Week 2 4 shifts
- Long Days 08:00 - 20:00
- Long Nights 20:00 - 08:00
- The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP.
Daily Duties:
You will be working within a newly opening inpatient service for males with severe and enduring mental health problems and who may have interpersonal difficulties.
The service is a pathway to independence and empowers people to achieve the skills to live as independently as possible.
Daily duties include but are not limited to:
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, a structured approach to nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse
- To supervise a range of other staff and their activities as delegated. Monitor and review Nursing Care plans
- Facilitating the assessment of staff undergoing relevant training/apprenticeship
- To provide educational support to optimise health and wellbeing; promoting self-care
where possible, helping people to make choices about their needs - Recording and reporting accurately any changes related to the patient's current
behaviour in a timely manner - Adhere to medicines management requirements including storage and
administration of medicines - Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonably practicable a safe environment

Person specification:
The applicant must have previous experience within the field, be fully COVID19 vaccinated and be DBS cleared.
