Job description: PERMANENT POSITION NOW AVAILABLE FOR A REGISTERED GENERAL MANAGER IN A NEWLY OPENING RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME IN HERTFORDSHIRE!

SCS have an exciting new opportunity for a General Manager (Registered NURSE) to work with people with dementia within a boutique care home!

Salary: £55,000-60,000pa + plus £250 BONUS FOR APPLYING THROUGH OUR AGENCY!

Hours and length of contract:
*Full time PERMANENT position (40 hours per week)
*Service operates 24/7
*The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP!

Daily Duties:
We are looking for a passionate and caring Nurse Home Manager with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team.

This wonderful opportunity gives you the chance to work within a newly opening 20 bed exclusive residential care home that provides nursing care to the elderly and those with Dementia.
The service is a bespoke home that allows for Rooms for Couples and Companions with the aim of providing the highest quality of care to each and every one of the residents.

Applicant must be a Registered Nurse with a genuine passion to provide the kindest care and an ability to build a warm rapport with residents and their families.

Your duties will include but are not limited:
*To take overall responsibility for the efficient and safe running of the home whilst ensuring exemplary quality and excellent care delivery in line with residents' wishes
*Ensure that the highest standards of resident/clinical care are upheld at all times, through positive leadership and guidance
*Ensure maximum occupancy through effective liaison with the appropriate funding authorities and individual purchasers
*To positively lead, role model and embed effective, appropriate and clear channels of communications within the home
*Identify and implement staff development needs and the compliance and recording of their learning
*To effectively line manage direct reports
*Meet and achieve organisational and strategic objectives
*To ensure medications are safely and correctly stored, administered and recorded throughout the home at all times
*To maintain and participate in the 'on-call' rota system
*To keep accurate and clear documentation in line with sector specific and legal requirements
*To participate in audits as required

Person specification:
The applicant must be a registered nurse with a minimum of 5 years senior level management experience within a care setting and be DBS cleared.
