Job description: Are you looking for a new full-time role? Do you have previous experience working with children? I am recruiting for a Band 5 RMN in the Nottinghamshire area. The position is for 37.5 hours a week, over 5 days/nights. The vacancy is for 2 months with a view to extend.

Job Purpose - Band 5 Staff Nurse (Mental Health/Learning Disabilities) - CAMHS/PICU

The post holder will work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team and responsibilities of the position will include:

*To plan, implement and promote safe and effective treatment plans in collaboration with the patient's diverse needs, their carers and other professionals
*To maintain the safe custody of healthcare records. To maintain accurate and timely clinical records both written and computerised
*Responsible for the safe monitoring, management and administration of medication
*To comply with policy, procedure and guidance in regard to the principles of Infection Prevention and Control
*Demonstrate and be responsible for the safe application of relevant, up-to-date legislation
*To maintain safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults, including making timely child and adult safeguarding referrals as required

*To deliver the best quality patient care

Essential
*Nursing Qualification
*NMC Registration
*Substantial experience working with children, young people and families

Desirable
*Ability to use and provide clinical supervision
