Job description: Are you looking for a new part-time role? Do you have a passion for caring? I am recruiting for a RMN/RNLD in the Nottinghamshire area. The position is for 36 hours a week, over 3 days. This vacancy is a permanent position.

Job Purpose - Registered Nurse (Learning Disabilities/Mental Health)

The post holder will work as part of a large team, empowering and supporting residents to live independently. Key responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:

*Undertaking accurate assessment and planning of care, delivery and ongoing evaluation of care plans, together with appropriate hand-over to ensure all service users' needs are continuously met
*Distribution and administration of medication
*Ensuring correct medication stock levels, ordering of medications, disposing of medications and storage as per service policy and protocol
*Liaising with residents, families, GP's and staff
*Supporting individuals with communication difficulties and sensory impairments
*To manage admissions and discharges as per service policies and protocols

Essential

*Nursing Qualification
*NMC Registration
*Experience working with young adults and families

Desirable

*Experience working with patients who have learning difficulties
