Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent CQC Registered Service Manager to join a not-for-profit care provider based in Lincoln!

This position calls for an experienced Care Manager to be responsible for the management and development of a 6 bed respite service and a 5 bed Community Supported Living service. The service users are adults aged 18 - 65 and have learning disabilities and require various support from minimal to full personal care. These services are well established and received a GOOD rating at a recent CQC inspection.

Pay: £15-18 p/h

Hours: 39 per week predominately working Monday to Friday usually 9am-5:30pm with flexibility to meet the needs of the service including some evenings and weekends when needed.

Contract: The role is initially for 3 months, with the likelihood of extension or becoming permanent.

The Role:
*To ensure effective day to day management, leadership and development of the Residential Respite and Community Living services.
*To hold 'Registered Manager' status and be responsible for ensuring that all team members adhere to the standards and regulations for the service as inspected and regulated by the Commission for Quality Care (CQC) and other statutory bodies.
*To ensure the effective financial and operational performance of the services underpinned by a continued development ethos.
*To ensure that the highest standard of care and support is provided to service users.
*To develop, implement and continuously improve the service in line with the service specification.
*To respond to service user incidences, safeguarding issues and complaints in line with the policies and procedures.
*To develop practical and strategic partnership, including working closely with the housing provider.
*To establish links with related services within the local area as specified by the commissioning teams and work with commissioners.
*To maintain accurate records, statistics and write reports in line with the organisation and regulatory bodies including CQC.

About You:
*Have previous experience of managing a team of care staff.
*Diploma Level 4 or a willingness to work towards within an agreed time period.
*Experience of working in a relevant care setting and providing a person centred approach.
*Enthusiastic and outgoing with a larger than life personality.
*Have a positive outlook on life and a passion to care for others.
*An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
*Adaptable and versatile be able to work alone and within a team.
*Take pride in your work, exceptional attention to detail and reliability are essential.
*A full UK driving licence and access to own transport due to working across the two services.
*Be familiar using a range of IT packages including outlook, Microsoft office and excel.
