Job description: Repairs Customer Service Officer
Location of the job: Manchester M21
Pay rate per hour: £10.55/hour
Contract type: 12 weeks plus ongoing
Weekly hours: 37 hours
Working hours and breaks: Monday-Friday 9-5
Start date: ASAP

Job Purpose

To work as part of the overarching customer access team delivering high quality, responsive and accurate advice and support for existing and prospective customers over the telephone and through digital media channels. The aim is to provide a "right first time" approach to customer's service and resolve a wide range of queries at the first point of contact.
Repairs Access Team
*Ensure new and existing repairs requests are fully assessed, prioritised appropriately and responded to in a timely manner.
*To book appointments that meet tenants needs by ensuring the right operative goes to the right job at the right time and in the timeliest route that enables first time fix of repairs.
*To assist in the management, instruction and organisation of operatives to develop and improve performance and the service to tenants.
*To advise tenants on building related matters and to assist them in the economic and safe running of their home.
*To liaise with sub-contractors and defects contractors to ensure repairs are completed within service levels.
*To work closely with Growth, Assets and Development departments and act as the point of contact for our customers
