Job description: My client, a Housing Association based in Nottinghamshire is looking for an Out of Hours Repairs/Maintenance Manager to join their team. This is a full time, temporary or permanent position for the right candidate and the successful applicant will have a relevant professional qualification, ideally an SMSTS certification, experience in a similar out of hour's management role and previous experience within a housing association setting.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the provision of a highly performing Out of Hours emergency repairs service for the client's tenants and leaseholders.

The successful candidate will work on a shift pattern of 37 hours per week, between the hours of 5pm and 9am.

Other main responsibilities will include;

Health and Safety of residents through effective management of emergency repairs
Be the key organisational first responder and contact with residents, emergency services and media in the event of a crisis
Lead an excellent repairs and maintenance service, ensuring a fully engaged workforce is
Accountable for the day to day performance of all emergency works and relatedly, Emergency Responder duties achieving all customer and stakeholder expectations
As Out of Hours Manager the post holder has a specific responsibility to support the Head of Repairs in the effective management of the function
Attend crisis situations to assess, manage and escalate the company's response as necessary
Develop and lead on the provision of Out of Hours Emergency Service, ensuring the service is commercially viable, promoting and selling the service to other service providers
Deliver internal and external customer requirements and an optimum compliance and right first time fix

The client is looking to appoint to this role as soon as possible and have stated that this role can be undertaken as both a temporary agency role with an attached daily pay rate, or a permanent position with an annual salary.
