Job description: My client, a Housing Association based in West Lancashire is looking for a Repairs Team Manager to join their team. This is a full time, ongoing agency role and the successful candidate will need experience dealing with responsive repairs, directly managing teams of operatives and ideally experience in a Housing Association setting.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver a high performing, value for money property repairs and maintenance team, on responsive repairs projects to the client's housing portfolio.

The main responsibilities associated with the role are as follows;

To lead the repairs and maintenance service of a defined property portfolio to deliver a high levels of customer satisfaction and value for money
To manage a team of directly employed operatives and contractors to deliver a high standard of repairs and void works in relation to customer service, regulatory compliance and budgetary management.
To be the main point of regional customer contact and support for all property and asset enquiries in relation to repairs and maintenance. This will include some evening and weekend support work as required.
To develop and review relevant individual, team and departmental performance data to understand, learn and ensure the continual improvements of customer satisfaction, legal compliance and cost management performance.
To manage individual major property refurbishment works incorporating component replacements (kitchens, bathrooms, roof replacements etc.) and structural works including full budgetary and technical management.
To manage void properties refurbishment works to maximise efficiencies, deliver effective turnaround times, ensure properties are legally compliant and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction in relation to product quality.
Provide a robust and pro-active health and safety management of the repairs and maintenance service including the management of both operatives and contractors.
