Job description: Repairs Planner, Oldham
A housing association based in Oldham are recruiting for a Repairs Planner to join their team to schedule works orders in-line with priorities and ensuring agreed targets are met.

The Role
The focus of this role is to schedule works orders in-line with priorities ensuring agreed targets are met through effective distribution and scheduling, taking corrective timely action where necessary rearranging appointments. This will include the following responsibilities:
-To raise works orders and allocate jobs to appropriate operatives, sub-contractors and partners ensuring maximum performance is maintained at all times.
-Monitoring changes to the workload and available resources in real time to identify and implement effective action to address these issues as they arise.
-Raise works orders and invoices as and when required, ensuring accurate information and records are easily accessible and check them against agreed prices of various contracts, ensuring quantities and costs are accurate prior to payment, dealing with discrepancies at an appropriate time.
-Deal quickly and effectively with queries and concerns associated with repairs, either in person or over the phone to ensure workflows are not delayed. This will include dealing with tenants, staff, partners and contractors.
-To effectively respond to and co-ordinate all requests/orders for repairs and remedial works for properties and any other client organisation ensuring that schedules of work are adequately resourced and that work is done within targets including re- prioritisation.
-To co-ordinate and process all repairs (voids, day to day repairs and contracts) in line with the organisations procedures ensuring that inspections and repairs are carried out within agreed timescales.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience of repairs or works planning and scheduling, and ideally will have previous working knowledge of Agresso, Northgate, scheduling boards, Quartix, as well as MS Office.

The Contract
This is a six month contract, with a chance of being extended. The role is full time, working 35 hours per week.
