Job description: We are looking for a resourcing assistant to work within the business support team in a local authority. The key role within the job include, delivery of administration, information processing and business services to support the Council.

*Delivery of ongoing processes and procedures including specialist area
*Understands and responds to real time queries
The Role
The Resourcing Assistant is part of the wider Resourcing Team and they report to the Resourcing team manager.
They are primarily responsible for providing technical expertise and administration to support the council's resourcing processes. The role holder needs to be a competent user of multiple social media platforms, Talentlink (e-recruitment system) and Excel and will have well developed research skills (essential) and analytical skills (desirable).
In addition to the responsibilities described in the role profile, example duties include:
*Telephonic and online research to collate data on a variety of subjects into a relevant reporting format as directed by Resourcing Advisor. Analyse data and identify any trends or areas for further investigation to Resource Advisors. Provide a summary of findings if required.
*Carry out analysis of exit interviews reports as required, identifying trends.
*Provide quality assurance on a regular, (minimum weekly), basis to ensure that all vacancies are advertised on agreed websites/social media without any delays and that adverts are accurate in content and in compliance with company standards. Ensure that all job boards are optimized to enable candidate searches to highlight Wiltshire Council vacancies in line with service contract agreed with provider. Raise issues of non-compliance or poor quality to the relevant Resourcing Advisor.
*Maintain and update social media platforms as required, ensuring they remain current and accurate.
*Collate data and run reports to provide progress updates and management information on performance of resourcing campaigns and/or performance of specific advertising media.
*Obtain quotations for advertising campaigns and make recommendations to Resource Advisors based on initial brief received.
*Raise PO's/verify and arrange payment of invoices.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you must have:
*Proven research skills and reporting skills using Excel.
*Ability to analyse data and identify trends
*Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
*Experience of using Microsoft Office packages and ability to quickly learn new systems
*Good understanding of using social media to promote activities, ideally within a workplace setting
The Contract
This is a temporary contact starting 13th May 2019 to 9th August 2019, working 32.5 hours per week.
