Job description: A London based Housing Association are recruiting for a Sales Consultant - home purchasing advisor based in Camden. The post holder will be responsible to the Sales and Marketing Manager to deal with Resales, Staircasing's, RTA/RTB/SHB and Home Purchase Schemes from the initial enquires through to completions.
The Role
*To be responsible for the Preserved Right to Buy, Right to Acquire and Social Home Buy or similar scheme functions from the point of any initial enquiry to the applications to completion of the sale.
*To be responsible for Staircasing and Resales and Open Market Sales from initial enquiry through to completion.
*Ensuring all timeframes are met, maximising income, minimising delays and providing advice and guidance to applicants throughout the process.
*For Resales/Open market sales, properties must be marketed onto our online portals and customers enquiries managed within an appropriate timeframe.
*To provide an excellent customer focused professional management service to residents, ensuring all legal landlord/freeholder obligations are met, ensuring all relevant fees, charges, notices are issued in a timely manner and addressing as required any queries in relation to these.
*Reflect the brand aspiration achieving high levels of customer satisfaction results.
*To be responsible for updating systems on CRM/UH when completing files to ensure correct names and charges are added.
*To keep up to date on any Home Purchase Scheme changes.
*Completion of weekly reports and adding/updating sales data.
*To provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues, residents and the general public on matters relating to home purchase schemes, Resales and Staircasing.
*To work closely with other colleagues in particular in Development, Housing Operations, Finance, Legal and Portfolio Management to ensure the efficient and effective provision of services to all residents.
*To collect and compile statistical information as required, including on performance indicators and collating performance reports for the service.
*Ensure sales and marketing processes are fully compliant with required legal and government regulation.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you must have:
*Good general IT skills, specifically in Word, Excel and Outlook.
*Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy and excellent organisational skills.
*Experience of working in a team to achieve high performance targets.
*Commitment to delivering exemplary customer service.
*Good understanding of Leases, both private sales and shared ownership Leases.
*Knowledge of the residential property sales market.
*Demonstrable ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to selling homes
*Able to build effective links with all relevant stakeholders and customers both internally and externally.
*Experience working with a CRM/Data system

The Contract
This is a permanent contact starting ASAP, working 35 hours per week. This role will be working from home until September, then between 80% - 90% of the time will be remote working
