Job description: Scheme Manager, Leamington Spa.
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager vacancy in Leamington Spa. As a Scheme Manager based in Leamington Spa, you will be working for a large housing association and will require previous experience managing schemes. As the role also includes covering a number of schemes, a driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
The purpose of this role is To be responsible for the management of the staff team, the building and the provision of services ensuring promotion of effective partnership working in relation to the service in conjunction with tenants. You will also be expected to provide a professional housing management service on a day to day basis and to ensure tenants receive appropriate support in order to maintain their independence and individuality.
In this role you will be:
-Responsible for providing a high quality support service appropriate to the agreed and assessed needs and wishes of individual clients, ensuring the service is reliable, economic, effective and efficient.
-Management of all care staff
-Ensure that letting process is agreed by accountable organisations, and be responsible for undertaking void inspections and advice on tenancy termination procedure
-Responsible for facilitating site refurbishment as required, and ensure systems are in place for arranging day to day repairs
-Responsible for consultation with tenants to ensure involvement in running the scheme, ensuring steps are taken to offer a range of social and leisure activities as well as ensuring all health and safety requirements associated with the delivery of care are met
-Responsibility for maintaining records in accordance with the Registration Authority and the organisation, and ensure that the agreed standards of practice are met and staffing levels are maintained in line with registration requirements
-Responsible for standards of nutrition within the Home
-Financial responsibility in terms of Home finances ensuring spending is monitored and controlled, and rental income is collected, as well as ensuring residents receive money management assistance where required
This is an initial six-week contract covering a period of long-term sickness, therefore, there is a chance the contract can be extended. The role is full-time, working 36.25 hours per week.
