Job description: Scheme Services Coordinator, Hackney
One of the largest housing associations in the South West is recruiting for a permanent Scheme Services Coordinator, to assist residents with housing management and tenancy issues, at two of their sheltered housing schemes in the Hackney area.

The Role
The focus of the role is to assist residents with housing management and tenancy issues, as well as facilities management, liaising with other agencies and ensuring the safety and security of both residents and schemes. This will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
*Ensuring that the sheltered housing scheme is well run and that the building is safe and secure for residents
*Provide basic tenancy advice and services to customers signposting to relevant individuals where necessary for resolution, including low level rent and ASB issues
*Referring residents to specialist agencies for additional support where there is a well-being concern
*Facilitate letting our empty homes by arranging and supervising viewings
*Lead on health and safety matters within the scheme
*Ensuring repairs and faults are quickly remedied
*Ensuring a range of contractors deliver a high standard
*Work with internal and external colleagues with regards to the appropriate delivery of volunteer support and well-being services
*Assist with the facilitation of community involvement initiatives and social events to support social inclusion
*Supervising and overseeing cleaning and laundry staff and services as appropriate

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will need great organisational skills, a natural empathy for building relationships with older people and the ability work successfully with a range of other organisations. As key member of the Sheltered Services Team, you will need to be a strong team player who is able to communicate well with their colleagues and be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
