Job description: SEN Case Officer needed for Bracknell Forest Council, £14 ltd per hour

Start Date- ASAP
Contract End date- 3 months (chance of extension)
Hours per week - 37
Pay rate - £14 ltd an hour

*To undertake administrative duties in relation to assessments of children with special educational needs under the 1996 Education Act and Children and Families Act 2014 and associated statutory framework
*To be responsible for ensuring that all assessments are carried out within the legal time scales and informing the SEN Officer of potential difficulties
*To provide a first point of contact to provide information and respond to inquiries on aspects of special education for parents/carers, schools and other professionals
*To manage to day to day casework and maintain the files in accordance with procedures and having regard for the highly confidential nature of the work
*From time to time to represent the Department at meetings with parents/carers, school staffs and other professionals

What is required?
*5 GCSE Grades A-C, including English, Maths and ICT or equivalent
*Administrative experience
