Job description: SEN Caseworker

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an SEN caseworker to work with Liverpool City Council.

This is a full time role working 35 hours per week on a 3 month contract initially with the possibility of extension.

Key features for this exciting role include:

*Assist Education Officers in the coordination of statutory assessments, drafting EHC plans and amending EHC plans.
*To advice parents on all aspects of the EHC assessment process.
*To ensure children and young people attend maintained schools in Liverpool where possible in accordance with the SEN Code of Practice 2015.
*Attend annual review meetings and all relevant panel meetings by the Education Officers.
*To assist in the preparation in the allocation of special school places for September 2019.
*To lead and/or contribute to the project management/development within the service.
*To undertake any other professional duties which fall in the remit of the post, identified with the Senior Education Assistant Manager.

The pay rate for this role is £12.66 per hour.
