Job description: ***Senior Business Support Officer (Private Sector Housing) - Northampton ***
A Local Authority in Northampton are recruiting for a Senior Business Support Officer with strong HMO and HHSRS experience to join their team on an initial 3 month basis, and assist in the implementation of a new online HMO licensing system.

The Role
The focus of the role is on home adaptations, HMO licensing, housing enforcement and tackling criminal, rogue and irresponsible landlords and the primary role will be to oversee and facilitate the timely implementation of an online HMO licensing system.
As well as implementing the online HMO licensing system, you will negotiate and facilitate the resolution of any outstanding disputes relating to the contractual and payment arrangements arising from a former empty homes scheme.
You will also develop a scoping document and project plan for the Additional HMO licensing scheme that is planned for Northampton in November 2019.

The Candidate
To be successful within this role, you will require excellent HMO Licensing experience and strong background in Private Sector Housing. HHSRS qualification will also be highly beneficial in your application.

The Contract
This is a full time role on an initial 3 month contract
