Job description: Senior Complaints and Member Enquiries Officer

I am looking for a Senior Complaints and Member Enquiries Officer to work in Kensington, West London for a 3-month rolling contract. This post is part of the Care for Grenfell Team.

The vacancy is full time (36 hours) and to start ASAP!

The hourly rate is negotiable depending upon experience

Please not that we do have a £250 referral scheme if you do know of anyone else that may be interested (Detailed Below)

About the role:
*You will co-ordinate non-statutory complaints in relation to Grenfell as appropriate, including assisting with Ombudsman complaints.
*You will ensure the effective logging, processing and timeliness of requests in compliance with legal timescales, chasing services and external bodies/people as appropriate
*You will lead on investigating complex complaints including reviewing and assessing documents, telephone contact with complainants and advocates (these may include taking calls from difficult customers), interviewing staff, the complainant and other interested parties.

To apply for this role you will need:
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Experience of working in a contact centre environment or a customer focussed environment where interpersonal communications using the telephone has been a key element.
*Experience of handling complaints and/or Members Enquiries as part of a team.
*Awareness of children's and adults' safeguarding procedures
