Job description: Senior Customer Contact Officer (Revenues & Benefits), Chatham

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Senior Customer Contact Officer vacancy, working in revenues and benefits, in Chatham, Kent. As a Senior Customer Contact Officer, based in Chatham, you will need to have demonstrable experience of leading or managing a customer contact team in your previous roles, as you will be leading a team, monitoring and reviewing their performance.

As this role is based in the revenues and benefits department, any experience you have in this area would be highly beneficial.

It is also essential that you command excellent IT skills and are educated to at least A-Level - or equivalent - with a focus on English and Mathematics, as you will be required to interpret and analyse complex data and develop solutions and plans to improve on your findings.
The main purpose of this role is to lead, manage and motivate a team of Customer Contact Officers, ensuring that they manage customer enquiries and maximise first time issues and query resolutions across a specialist area, as well as pro-actively managing the performance of the team, ensuring performance statistics are obtained, analysed and reviewed so that service provision is maximised.

This is an initial six-month contract covering maternity leave, with the potential to be extended up to a year.
