Job description: My Client, a educational information specialist, is currently looking for a Senior Drupal Developer to work for them in their London Office.

My Client provide an interface between candidates and educational institutions, ensuring candidates have access to the best tools and independent expert information, when considering study options, and assisting universities and business schools in attracting and engaging with prospective students that match their requirements.

The role:

You will be working with a Lead Developer for support and an international team using agile methodologies, so candidate needs to be organised, self-motivated and proactive.
Leadership skills are needed to take the lead of the team and the responsibility for delivering the results. Candidate needs to have attention to details and logical thinking, as role involves troubleshooting, testing and fixing.

Skills and experience:

* Solid knowledge of Drupal 7 with commercial exposure to Drupal 8.
* PHP including OOP, MySQL and HTML5.
* CSS3, Sass, Javascript, JQuery and AJAX.
* Building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
* Tools such as GIT, Vagrant and Docker.
* Website management experience and code deployment preferably using Pantheon.
* Exposure of performance monitoring preferably with New Relic.
* Working in an Agile team environment.
* Making high-level architecture choices and dictate technical standards.
* Confident team leadership skills and mentoring of Junior Developers.
* Code review and enforcing Drupal development standards.
* Ability to work closely with various stakeholders.
* Confident in speaking with colleagues via Skype.
* Innovative and passionate approach to work.
* Comfortable working with off-shore development teams.

Company Benefits:

* 20 days annual leave in addition to the 8 current public and Bank holidays (prorated in your first year). Your holiday allowance increases by 1 day for each full year of service up to the cap of 25 days.
