Contract: Full-time, Monday to Sunday (Flexible Rota)
Pay Rate: £27 Ltd / £21.71 PAYE (excluding holiday pay)
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Practitioner to join a CAMHS Crisis Team on behalf of one of our NHS clients based in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified mental health professional with experience in urgent assessments and crisis intervention for children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct urgent assessments of children and young people presenting with high-risk mental health concerns
- Deliver crisis intervention and short-term support to service users and their families
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with NHS standards
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to safety planning
- Professional qualification and current registration in one of the following:
- Social Work (SWE)
- Mental Health Nursing (NMC)
- Occupational Therapy (HCPC)
- Experience in risk assessment and management across various settings
- Proven experience working with children and young people with complex mental health needs, or within child protection, abuse, and parenting services
