Job description: SENIOR PRACTITIONER | SAFEGUARDING & SUPPORT | HARINGEY COUNCIL

Service Care Solutions are currently looking for a Children's Service Qualified Senior Practitioner to work within the Safeguarding & Support Service based in Haringey, on a permanent basis. This is to work with children and young people subject to child protection and children in need plans including Public Law Outline pre-proceedings work, as well as initiating care proceedings.


Salary - £41,847 - £46,578

Requirements for the role:

*At least three years post qualifying experience in children's services and especially in the areas of safeguarding and child protection and as a Senior Practitioner
*HCPC Registered & Social Work Qualified.
*Act as an experienced and expert social work practitioner, promoting good practice and actively supporting the day to day functioning and development of the team.
*To support the team manager in the running of the team and to develop and maintain practice expertise in all areas covered by the service remit and to contribute to policy development promote a culture of organisational learning and development in the context of partnership working.
*To be responsible for a managed caseload of the more complex cases in the service and ensure the delivery of a high quality social work input, consistent with accepted notions of best practice and national and local guidance, in the context of partnership working.
