Job description: Service Delivery Manager, Sevenoaks
A large housing association based in Kent are recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager to manage the development of housing and homelessness related strategies. The role can be based in either Sevenoaks or Medway.

The Role
The focus of this role is to
*Be the lead and manage services within the Integration theme of the new Community Directorate, delivering services across Kent and Medway.
*Be a member of the Heads of Service of the Directorate. Ensuring that existing projects are effectively supported through administration, funding and service user engagement.
*Working with Heads of Service to design and develop new Integration projects that reflect unmet need in Kent communities.
*To develop work plans for the Integration Team ensuring that all key targets, funding requirements and service standards are understood and met. Including supporting staff to take responsibility for collecting performance data.
*Review the scope and performance of Integration services to ensure continuous improvement and service development.
*Act as a key point of contact for Integration services, building relationships with external agencies, funders and stakeholders to represent and lobby for the value of Integration work and influence future design.
*Work with partners agencies to ensure collaboration where appropriate to ensure value for money and avoid unnecessary duplication of services.
*Work closely with the Head of Communities and other theme managers to ensure that the themes are integrated and services support service users effectively.
*Prepare reports and updates for Head of Communities as appropriate.
*Any other reasonable tasks appropriate to the role identified by the Head of Communities.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have the following skills and experience:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
*An ability to liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders as well as the ability to work using your own initiative and work as part of a team.
*Good organisational skills
*Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
*An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and Publisher
*A flexible and adaptable approach with an optimistic and friendly attitude.
*Experience of managing a diverse team to meet targets.
*Experience of delivering or managing community support services.
*Experience of managing services funded through external funders and/or commissioners.
*Track record of designing work plans and ensuring their delivery.
*Experience of building effective relationships with external partners.
*Experience of working with funders and commissioners.
*An understanding of the voluntary and community sector in Kent

The Package
This is a full-time, permanent role, reporting to the Head of Communities, offering a salary of £35,373 per annum. The role will be based in either Sevenoaks or Medway but support our work across Kent, working 37 hours a week. In addition, you will have access to an excellent benefits scheme, including:
