Job description: Service Care Solutions are looking for an IT Service Desk Agent for a vacancy which has become available at the Police HQ in Portishead.

The main responsibilities of this role are:
1.Work within a designated team and across virtual teams as necessary.
2.Undertaking day to day workload in line with business priorities and as instructed by task manager, addressing / escalating issues as they arise.
3.Gain an understanding and complies with Southwest One procedures applicable to the role being performed.
4.Gain an understanding of, and works in line with, defined best practice, to time and quality standards and to business controls.
5.Gain an understanding of and works in accordance with Service Management processes, particularly incident management, problem management and change management processes.
6.Gain an understanding of and works to ensure that services are delivered in line with contractual obligations.
7.Understand the importance of accurate record keeping and documentation ensuring the maintenance of records as required

This is a police-based role, so applicants will be subject to police security checks.
It is advised that applicants have a clean DBS/CRB within the last 3 years.
