Job description: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Agent to work on a long-term contract for the local Police Service.

To work within a designated team and across virtual teams as necessary, and to undertake a day to day workload in line with business priorities and as instructed by task manager,
This will involve addressing / escalating issues as they arise.

The main responsibilities of the role holder will be:

* Gaining an understanding and complying with procedures applicable to the role being performed.
* Gaining an understanding of, and works in line with, defined best practice, to time and quality standards and to business controls.
* Gaining an understanding of and working in accordance with Service Management processes, particularly incident management, problem management and change management processes.
* Gaining an understanding of and working to ensure that services are delivered in line with contractual obligations.
* Will understand the importance of accurate record keeping and documentation ensuring the maintenance of records as required.

Essential Criteria:

* IT literate to deal with a wide range of IT related queries.
* Demonstrate an ability to learn.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to act with tact and discretion.
* Have enthusiasm and a good attitude to work.
* Have a practical approach.
