Job description: My Client, an award winning IT services and support provider across London, and the South East is now looking for their next Service Desk Superstar to work out of their Milton Keynes Office on a permanent basis.

Who are we looking for?

The company has a very sociable and lively environment, so if you love a good chat between working hard (or hardly working!), you'll fit in just fine! As part of the service desk supporting some of the company's key clients, you will need experience of troubleshooting challenging queries and experience within an IT managed services environment. As a customer focused business, solutions will need to be delivered in a reliable timely manner, and therefore you will take problem ownership with clear, concise, customer communication whilst managing expectations.


Experience/Background:

* Minimum of 2 years commercial experience working for an Managed Services Provider supporting SME businesses;
* Understanding of and working within the ITIL framework;
* Excellent customer service skills;
* Familiar with working to SLA's & KPI's, and understanding why they exist;
* An MCP/MCSE/MCITP/MCSA qualification would be highly desirable.


Technical Knowledge:

* Windows Server Technologies (2008 and 2012 primarily)
* Exchange (all versions)
* Active Directory
* Hardware and Firmware, Raid Configs.
* DNS
* Virtualisation (Office365, VMware, Hyper-V)
