Job description: Job Title: Service Improvement Analyst
Hours: 37 hours per week
Type: Permanent
Salary: £36,472
Location: Middlesbrough, TS2
Closing Date: 21/01/2021
We are looking for a Service Improvement Analyst to work for our client in Middlesbrough to monitor and review the performance of services within performance management and reporting frameworks to support effective and critical assessment of business performance. You will also support the service review and business excellence framework and, within which, to undertake assigned lead duties on service reviews or business excellence activities in line with the Corporate framework.
Job Role -
*Support the performance management framework to ensure performance measurement and review it is fit for purpose
*Help inform the data collection and warehousing facility
*Interrogate customer insight and feedback data, including complaints, to help inform & direct service improvement
*Prepare reports and provide summary analysis of business performance in support of Senior Managers, Executives and Boards/Committees
*Undertake the completion of relevant performance data returns as required by regulators or in support of best practice
*Lead and/or facilitate regular and 'task-finish' performance and service review clinics and support operational managers in the identification of areas/services for performance improvement
*Support project appraisal and approaches to assessing cost-benefit, financial and social returns on investment
*Supporting value for money initiatives and annual self-assessment
*Support managers to achieve a culture of innovation, self-assessment and continuous improvement through a Business Excellence framework
Candidate Requirements -
*Good understanding of business activities with particular regard to the Financial, People, IT, Governance, Health & Safety, Environmental and Equality & Diversity requirements
*Effective use of IT and media as appropriate
*Good understanding of value for money principles
*Able to prioritise to achieve realistic targets, costs and time deadlines
*Good understanding of the principles of performance management and business improvement
*Good understanding of the principles of tenant scrutiny
