Job description: Service care solutions are looking for Service Manager for the family safeguarding Team with Hertfordshire Council based in Stevenage Farnham house.
This post will be for an initial 6-month duration

*** must have Service Manager Experience managing long term CP and CIN teams and dealing with ongoing and long term care proceedings cases***

Candidate will manage 3 x Team managers
Oversee 6 x Teams
Assist other service managers

Purpose of the Job

Responsibility for managing a cluster of safeguarding teams, ensuring that children, young people, carers and families receive first class specialist assessments and timely support to meet their needs, manage risks to children and maximise children's life chances.
Manage direct spend and staffing budgets maximising service provision but ensuring spend remains within allocated resources. Deliver inspection, serious case review and Children and Young People action plan outcomes for the continuous professional development of staff and improvement of the quality of services for which responsible

What you need to apply?

-Relevant Training / Experience & HCPC Qualification
-Experienced in management long Term teams
-Strong report writing skills
-Knowledgeable understanding around safeguarding
-Knowledge around Legislations
-Social Work Knowledge
Role - Service Manger
Pay - £350 - 400 per day
Hours - 37 hours per week
Location - Hertfordshire Council / Farnham House Stevenage
Working in any of the HCC offices is available and touch down basis
Contract - 6 month assignment
Start date - ASAP
